Did you become confused by the many different opinions about losing weight from family and friends?

Listen up people! You do not have to be a rocket scientist to figure out how to lose weight. The key to weight loss is not complicated; simply burn more calories then you eat. There is nothing magic or secret to help you lose weight. You have to do it the old-fashioned way; eat small portions of nutritional food and exercise regularly.

- It would be in your best interest to eat one meal every 2 to 3 hours to lose weight because this speeds up your metabolism which will induce loss of weight.

- Always eat something at breakfast. We are told breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it is breaking the fast during the night. You must east something nutritious to get your metabolism moving faster to give you energy. Preferably, pieces of fruit or fresh squeezed fruit juice before you face the challenges of the day.

Physical exercise is a very important part of weight loss. You need to combine exercise with any weight loss program you choose. Do something! walk, swim, ride a bike or anything requiring movement. The point is, be active at least 30 minutes a day everyday, if you can. If your schedule is such that you cannot do it daily, then do it whenever you can. If you want to lose pounds and make sure they do not come back, EXERCISE.

Just as I suggest drinking a liter of water first thing in the morning for overall health, you should exercise first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Why exercise? Easy, because you are burning calories and that is what it is all about. These weight loss tips if put into action will shed excess pounds from your body in a safe and healthy way.
